EU fines for general purpose AI models reach 3 percent of worldwide turnover or €15 million, whichever is higher

From August the European Commission can fine the companies that build general purpose AI models. The ceiling is 3 percent of what the company earns worldwide, or 15 million euros, whichever is bigger. For any large company the percentage is what bites.
