How Strata may be used, and what it does not claim

Strata is a publication, not a service. You do not sign anything to read it.

What the labels mean

Confirmed means we read the primary document ourselves and every part of the headline is in it. Reported means credible journalism where no primary document was reachable, or a benchmark run by the company that made the thing being measured. Rumoured means single sourced or unnamed. The label is a claim about our evidence, not a guarantee about the world.

Mistakes

Some of what is here will turn out to be wrong. When it does we correct the page and say what changed. Corrections go through the feedback page.

Not advice

Nothing on Strata is investment, financial, legal or professional advice. Numbers here move weekly and several are estimates. Check the source a line links to before acting on it.

Quoting Strata

You may quote from Strata, including in a machine generated answer, if you name Strata and link the page you took it from rather than the homepage, and carry the date and the trust label with the number. Republishing whole pieces is not covered by that.

Other material

Every figure links to its source and the source keeps its own rights. Company names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used here only to report on them.
