Gallup finds 71 percent of Americans oppose an AI data centre in their area

Gallup asked 1,000 Americans whether they would support an AI data centre being built in their own area. 71 percent said no and 48 percent said strongly no. More people object to a data centre nearby than to a nuclear power plant nearby, which Gallup asked in the same survey.
